There are so many stuff in Maldives I want to change design wise. Art, architecture, ads, logos, etc. I have focused on some of the popular companies in Male' and took their branding logo and jazzed it up a little.

(Note that the following designs are a little self project I have been working on and you can use these images with proper crediting)

The current VTV logo is a form derived from its parent company logo. Although it has its appeal I find that it lacks the upfront link or connection between the viewer and the company. So below is my version of how we can better the current logo instead of just being a break down of its company logo. (I made a 3D visualization of the Logo so it would be easier to imagine an animation for the logo.)

I find DhiTV's logo not fit to be used by one of the leading media company in the Maldives. It uses a very simple concept of portraying the TV in the form of a box. My argument is, although it is such a simple concept you can always portray it in a more professional form.

This website has been in beta stages since I dont know for how long. There are some places you really need a redesign. But this time I am focusing on the header. It has been written in simple Arial font in red and grey. The haveeru dhivehi logo has been used since a long time so I thought why not use the dhivehi logo style and create the english version for the website.

My research for a video project lead me to this article on Wikipedia. "List of Sultans of the Maldives"

This list shows different dynasties of the Maldivian Sultans, starting from Theemugé Dynasty. This information is gathered from the earliest historical text of the Maldives, The Lōmāfānu Copper Plates. These copper plates are written in ancient Evey-la akuru (ancient Dhivehi text derived from early Sanskrit) and holds a detailed history starting from King Koimala. He was the first king to rule whole of Maldives including the Island Maliku. Before King Koimala, most of the Northern regions of Maldives were under Indian Rule. Only six Kings before King Koimala were recorded in the Lōmāfānu plates. These kings belonged 'Adhitta Dynasty' and 'Homa Dynasty'.
'Adhitta' and 'Homa' means 'Sun' and 'Moon' respectively also referred as 'Solar god' and 'Lunar god' of early Buddhism in the Maldives. These two names are used the modern Dhivehi calendar as 'Sunday' and 'Monday'.

The Lost History

The Lōmāfānu Copper Plates also tells us about another set of even older copper plates called The Maapanansa. These copper plates is said to hold the information of previous ancient dynasties of Maldives, dating earlier than the "Adhitta Dynasty". It is also said to contain the cultural understanding of how ancient Buddhist worked in the Maldives. and different legends and stories of the time.

Princess Kamanhaar of the Lunar Dynasty was banished to the Island 'Is-Midu' (Modern; Meedho, Addu) with her she took the The Maapanansa Copper plates. Later it was buried and destroyed by a man named Al- Muhadhith Hassan. It is believed that the Maapanansa Copper plates were destroyed because it contained details of Buddhist rituals and ceremonies and the Islamic wise men of that time didn't want people to be lead astray by the ancient writings.

Imagine if the Maapanansa Copper plates wasn't destroyed. the Maldivian history would have been very rich and not left with so many questions unanswered. Like where our actual ancestors came from. our culture though from another religion how it was back then.

I dont agree or support on destroying culture in the name of religion. It is a crime against who we are and our ancestry. It denies the future generation of the truth. If you are scared of the world around you changing in to a belief you don't want you or your family to be subjected to, do not erase it from our history. Keep it as a reminder of how better you are now, and teach the future to be more tolerant and understanding of other people, cultures, races and religions. Hope in the future we wont loose any more cultural icons because of reasons like this.

So Island Aviation is in a bit of a blunder. One of the planes sent a hijack code while trying to depressurize the cabin, in SriLankan air space. So heres a list of alibis/reasons the pilot could have "accidentally" done it.

Since vampires were all the rage 2009, I decided to write my own vampire story. (all characters are purely fictional and totally not ripped off from anywhere. For movie deals please contact by commenting)

New Swoon - An Abrupt Vampire Love Story

The moon was so big. Mystical maybe. Not mythical definitely, because the moon is not a myth. So it must be mystical. These were the thoughts Bella had running through her inferior brain as she gazed at the night sky. The stars sparkled like an imaginary vampire as she sat looking at the night sky dreaming to be taken away by a blood hungry psychopath.

Bella sighed. A deep long sigh, her breath illuminated with a hue of green as the vapor dissolved and killed the wild poppy growing on her balcony. Some would say her breath was worse than the smell of carnage and waste leaking from a demons backside. But to Edward it smelled like beautiful roses.

Not that it was peculiar for a vampire to smell anything since they are the undead and relieved of all feelings and emotions. But Edward knew that it was heaven and what he was feeling was love. (Note; Vampires cannot tell the difference between horniness and constipation, let alone a sissy feeling like love)

Edward kept looking at Bella in such fascination. He almost forgot that was stalking her. Thus losing his footing and slipped off the roof and landed face flat on face.

“GASP!” gasped Bella.

“Oww” whimpered Edward.

Edward quickly got up and flared his fangs at her. For he knew she went gaga for vampires, for he knew she went out with a lot of vampires

“SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON” Sheeza swooned as she kept flaying her arms like an air powered doll at a soccer game. Sheeza made her way cross the balcony towards Edward like an octopus. As she got neared her eyes kept batting like a bat. She knew what moves would make a vampire want a girl. For she had convinced Lestat the awesome vampire to sleep with her, and we all knew he was gay for the Brad Pitt.

“SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON” she swooned again.

Edward let out a stifled giggle. For he found it cute and not terrifying that she was still waving all over the place like an octopus. (Note; Edward secretly loves hentai octopus sex) Sheeza knew Edward was now practically set.

“Are you a vampire?”

“I have pointy teeth, no body hair, depressingly pale, hunky looks, and this JUSTGOTOUTOFBED hair style actually took me 45 minutes to get it just right”

“What kind of hair cream do you use?”

“A strong adhesive like Dunlop”

“Oh so you really are a vampire? Do you sparkle like a 13 year old girls myspace page in the sunlight?” Sheeza was very fascinated. She had only been dating hardcore oldschool vampires and not a fat girl’s wet dream.

“Yes” said Edward. This time he winked at Sheeza.

All the right words were said. The body language was hot and perfect, their steamed up eyes connected and signed the unwritten contract binding them with a horrible 4 book story. But alas this was not to be. Little did Edward know that the next morning he would DIE…. (Note; Of Syphilis)

An iPhone Story

Ever since apple decided to leak information about there secret phone project I had been patiently waiting curiously. Then they released concepts for their new phone, then came the name and official design of the phone. My devotion to the iphone was like a little kid at a candy store.. waiting for it to come out. When they released the trailers of all the things you could do with an iphone, I downloaded every bit of iphone commercials and watched all the spoof parodies of iphone on the internet. Since I wasnt working back then I relied on my parents (especially my dad) to bless me with with the moola to acquire this god like technology. From there, operation "Scam dad in to buying me the iphone" began...

Scene1, Act1
me: (taping away on keyboard as loud as possible with one of the iphone commercials on full volume)
dad: son what is all this ruckus??
me: oh dad i didnt see you there.. im looking through this awesome phone called the iphone. look at all the neat stuff it can do..
dad: hmm that looks like a good phone.
me: this is like totally something I would want for my birthday. (hint administered)
dad: why dont you study and get good results first on your degree. stop dreaming of the impossible!!

After the iphone was released and some of dads friends already bought it and had been rubbing it in everyones faces abt how cool it was to own an iphone I realised now was the time to once again start my mission.

"Jamaaluddhin Schoolge' dharivarunthakeh China'ah." To me this felt like an abrupt halt. I see a heading which sounds like it was missing half of the ending words. So I was reading through Iya's latest post "Be an asshole.. Be happy" and its about girls falling for dead beat jerks while the nice guys are there to pick up the scraps. (which is true! theres a reason why a website called "crazymaldivians" was made)
As you read along to the bottom to see the comments you find one pent up character "rundin thalhaa". He is such an enthusiastic character that I decided (out of my own kind will mind you) to start a petition to get "HOT GIRLS" to like him. So please fell free to sign up the petition (by commenting i guess...) and if we get 10 individuals to sign the petition... I dont know. Lets see what will happen from there shall we.

How to Make a Time Machine.

Connect toaster to TV through a series of 5 megavolt capacitors.
The AV cable should have a Frank Turbulator attached between a BOF Filament bulb with a laboratory rat inside. (the lab rat should be white, otherwise the Bio-Organic Filtration filament wont work with any other color)
Turn on the stove and set it on Medium, Put a sauce pan on the stove and heat a layer of olive oil and fry some sausages while you wait for the BOF Filament bulb to emit a spectrum of light.
Once the BOF Filament emits the spectrum, quickly release the hamsters so that they would start running the 250 play wheels. (note: For every 5 hamster 3 will run the wheel) Wheel should be connected to the Toaster so that it runs on Hamster power. (note: Hamster power is more precise than voltage system)
Open the fridge and pour a glass of milk and consume it. (cookies are an option)
Once the toaster is hot and ready put a piece of bread and wait for it to toast (on heat medium, you may listen to a song while you wait)
When the toast is done (a ding sound you will hear) the time machine is ready. Just eat the toast and turn on the TV and flip channels till your desired destination shows up and just walk through the screen :D

P.S. This is a one way travel option. Most of the required materials are either made up or haven't been invented yet. And if you really want to to travel time buy a clock and carry it around with you on long journeys.

I decided to write parts of best selling imaginary fiction novels on my blog, so here are some paragraphs from the imaginary novel "Fruits of Eternity"

Evil as it may seem the Dark Court of Vegetable Enthusiasts, highest priest banned the Tomato from ever returning. For the crime of being a passionate Fruit Seeker. Banished never to return, the Tomato wandered aimlessly in the wild. Eons passed, the luminescence faded away. What is left is that of courage and the will to survive. Centuries of evolutions made it softer and more supple, as if to say.. a Fruit?

Lettuce once again lunged against the Dark Court, armed to the teeth, chanting a spell of destruction. His intent was very clear. He wanted to destroy the the Dark Court once and for all. The light was very bright, a very light blue. With such force he came soaring through the air, the walls shattered to fill the void he left as passed through. The Elder, Broccoli, his eyes flashed. With a strike the light was gone. The radiance went away like dust in the wind. The lettuce was lying face down behind him was the The Elder, Broccoli. In his had the Sword of the Cucumber. Legends were told of the sword of how it was forged in the deepest fryers of the Potato Chips volcano. How centuries ago The Elder, Cabbage defeated the fruits olden age kingdom, the Fruits of Eternity. Because of that sword, the once great and powerful Fruit Seekers live like traveling nomads.

So I decided to get my blogging game back on, too much facebooking can be boring too. So heres a question for you.. From which blog you are most likely to get a sexually transmitted infection from? To make your choices a bit narrower below are four blogs for you to "test drive".

1. Legacy of Pain
Ah finally a hypocritical jerk whom you can rely on to painfully blow hot air in to your ass and prick your belly with a harpoon so that your guts may splash and spill all over your friends and family's faces. Yes its true, exposing everyone for whom they are hiding out to be is his favorite pastime. Who knows what his honest nature may spread to the nether regions of unsuspecting people? (Seriously you really don't know where his "honesty" has been.)

To tell you the truth I honestly don't know what his point is about, but it seems that he is letting out a lot of pent up frustrations through his posts, like the whole joospetty thing. He was making a good point and all but later on I think he was confused as to where he was going with it, was it joospetty flavored pussy or pussy flavored joospetty?? (In my opinion I don't think you can contract something from someone who isn't getting any... thus his frustrations.)

3. Bulhaa
Let me tell you this. What kind of infection would you expect to get from someone who fancies taking pictures of turds and making ridiculous comics about turds, occasionally steps on dead cats, whines about not getting attention, is not satisfied with the attention they get, decide to make a blog and whine about not getting attention so as to get more attention world wide? (Summing up, an attention seeking whore who has a gross fetish.)

Anybody can swear. little boys n girls, big boys and girls, the jocks, the cheerleaders, the nerds, even talking parrots. (damn izekeel the budgerigar) But it seems the rationality of a good swear is too common now a days. As I said before.. anybody can swear. So how can we stand out?

Remember the first swear word you said out loud? the swell up of either anger or excitement. adrenalin rushing, making your palms sweat. wondering if you'd get in to trouble. (You didnt? Well u must be sum sort of mamma's boy/girl, aint ya?)
We have been swearing since then the same way we felt comfortable. (Is there anything comfortable about swearing?) fuck, tits, cunt, pussy, dick all so.. mediocre. But when you think about it its what you say what really matters.

"FUCK YOU!!"
Usually u say this out of anger. But lets see what happens when you say this with the same hatred!
"IM GOING TO FUCK YOU!!"
Now its Stingy. Its bold. Its not everyday you hear that. Its makes the subject confused and re-think his actions.
"is he gay?, is he not saying it right? is he so mad at me that hes going to ass rape me?"
Lets face it, NO straight man wants to be assraped by another angry dude. Then without knowing how to react to this he would probably say
"WHAT????"
then you reply..
"You heared me im going to pin you to the floor infront of everyone and fuck you in the ass and make you scream that you are my bitch!!"
(You DON'T have to anally violate the man, but it gets the crowd laughing with you and at him plus making him bit scared that you might actually do it)

Basic 101
BOO!swear
You know theres things you don't like about what people do and you end up booing or hissing at them. Don't boo or hiss!! be more specific...

eg : "what are you doing?? (shocked angry face) I HATE THAT!!! I'M MELTING!!! I hope you die in a pit of flesh eating opera singing spiders just because you did that"

HEY!swear
This is a common one. It sort of come as a greeting to demean each other. Without saying good morning you say "Mornin' Assface!". Or call out to someone to get their attention "Hey Dipshit!!". To be creative you have to think beyond normal expectations but keep it short.

Think of a disgusting animal or insect or thing. (eg, baboon, maggot, vomit)
Visualise what his face mostly resemble (eg, gay tellitubby, violated chicken)
Disgustin bodypart (eg, sweatypits, pus-filled bellybutton, hairy nipples)
Combo blows, combining two or more of the above with each other or with description (eg, evil spawn, nipple leech, baboon ass face, shit covered beetle stuck in a pile of continuous vomit!!)

HOPE!swear
This is the most creative form of swearing. It gives you a broad horizon of pure evil and humiliation of any sort to design and hand it over in a neat platter of "in your face". Basically its hoping and wishing bad things upon people (Nooo, not wishing it and praying it to yourself, say it to their faces)
The idea behind is you hope for something, eg, "I hope you die!" but instead of keeping it simple you add horrible torturing 'outoftheblue' ideas, let it flow, show them how you truly feel. The end result would be something like this..

eg, "I hope an angry swarm of bees fly up your anus and make a hive and sting you inside till you blow up like a balloon and burst and die!" (Don't hold back on the type of words to use)
eg, "I hope a sexually depraved mouth foaming mad goat comes and rapes you in front of three gay masturbating gorillas!" (Specifying numbers makes the victim think. Throwing them off course makes it difficult for them to make a comeback)

Same attributes can be used with "Im gonna kill you with.." and "I wish you would...".

BOLD!swear
Like stated above, its putting yourself in a vulnerable position to humiliate someone else.

eg, "If you dont back off i swear I'll give you a french kiss and finger your ass!!"

GIRLSNAME!swear
Calling someone by a girls name. (make it a horrid name that you would never call your daughter) This is vice versa with gender, call guys, girls names and girls, guys names.

eg, Girlsnames - belinda, agatha, ainthu, shaima, huneyana, vagina, zineyna, pussy, zubeydha, saleema, findhufureyni, fathun, tampon, cue tip, julie, samantha, etc...
eg, Guysnames - jonnie, jack, mode, hussen, ayya, niyaz, slagathor, godzilla, penis, dick, husham, hurriya, foakey, oppo, boobman, etc....

So that covers most of the basic creative swearing. hope u enjoyed, please practice in protected areas where you know you wont get in to any sort of trouble.

Cure For A Creativity Block

THE EPIPHANY!!
So I have been having a block for quite some time now. Prolly for about 2 months. I seriously couldn't get my creative mind rolling the way it used to roll. So have been sulking about it all this time. Unlike some people my day to day life depended on my innovative thinking. The fear of thinking you have lost your touch completely, or grown too old or sumthing sumthing kept buzzin around my head. The karma was bad and I had a feeling that I was out of my own element.
Then the cure came. The answer had been there in my face all this time. For some people it comes as a falling apple or a sign of god. Mine came when I was sleeping in my bed.
I BROKE MY BED!!
It cured me yet I broke my bed. You know you are fat when the bed you sleep on falls apart while you slept. I had a falling sensation during my sleep (Everyone does so i considered this was normal) then a huge bang came and I didn't know what the heck was going on. (Which wasn't normal) By the time I realized, I was lying sideways on an awkward angle on my bed. But took me a while to wake up fully and realize that I broke my bed. (It was made of metal ladies and gentlemen) Was too lazy to fix it up so slept on the floor that night.
HOW WAS BREAKING YOUR BED A CURE??
Well it sorta made me aware that I was a bit round around the edges than before. OK FINE!! Im fat and weigh like 95Kg. HAPPY??
I had been so happy with myself lately that I had let all of my guard down. (People you shouldn't do that coz I used to weigh 75KG) My creativity, sense of humor and sarcasm had all been a facade for the insecurity of myself. It isn't so bad here. although I cant wait for June to come, thats when Ill be finishing my studies and heading back home... I missed the last 3 years of Ramadan at home and I'm not gonna miss it this year. Ramadan away from home is not the same. You don't get to enjoy the festivities and all the late night coffees and motor rides and the traffic pumped evenings. mmmm mmmm.. Cant wait!!!

why dont you suggest something better for the nation, instead of sitting around complaining about how the country is becoming a war torn city, when its actually far from it!

This was a comment on my last post. apparently anonymous direct comments like these are usually because they themselves don't want to be a target and hide behind a facade and yell at others without putting up a fight themselves. (Hypocrites I tell you..)

So heres my suggestion on how to improve the nation.

This is a suggestion which will confuse most people, mostly because they don't want change or move away from the capital.

We decentralize hospital specialties throughout the Maldives. We can have a hospital in Addu specialized in heart conditions. Another in Hanimaadhoo Specializing in Kidneys or Cancer. And other places with different specialty's. So If it is distributed the people doesn't have to go far as lanka to get treatment. They can got to the island and of course that means more people going to get treatment, people will have opportunities to start small businesses. Building hotels for people from other places to come and stay. Offering more jobs to the locals. Getting a chance to better their lives without the simple Maldivian dream of "Going to male' to study". Because of the people and the booming population, the schools will get better. Teachers will want to stay. And you'll have a stunning, growing bunch of people who are happy and satisfied, making whole of our nation scattered and wide spread, yet stand strong as they are. Plus because these were once rural islands, it can still hold the peace and serenity most patients in hospitals require.

Its just a suggestion, which makes a whole lot of sense to me. And if you have a problem with it feel free to comment anonymously or un anonymously.

I have been reading a few articles posted by some of the fellow bloggers. Simon - This Doomed Nation and TheDA - Hear The News, Get The Picture, But It's Not Always Right. I suggest everyone get a good read.
Its about our nation crumbling to what can only be described as a war torn city, only there is no factual war. The politics which as been ruining our lives to such an extent, as to fight and bicker while the weak and helpless are ignored.

No one has said anything about what they will do about the necessary problems at hand. They all call for reform and yet no one knows how to go about as to bring one.
No one has addressed a problem with a solution. They always say "he hasn't done this, He does that and we don't like it?" no one ever remotely suggested a solution other then "golhaabo faiba".
I know what I am trying to say is all over the place but I hope you get the idea.
Until someone comes and show me a 20 year plan of how he/she (thats right people.. "SHE ") would run this country I am not voting for anyone, and all you other freaks can go F*** yourselves.

Internet Explorer 7 is microsofts way to make money. With windows genuine advantage its like a huge spyware built by the greedy corporate microsoft. Anyway here is a link for IE7 without the Windows Genuine Advantage. just download it and follow the instructions.

1. Download the IE7 - Final No WGA.rar file and extract it.
2. Copy the 'normaliz.dll' file to the system32 folder. (very important)
3. Install the product. 'update.exe' file in the update folder.
4. After installation run the 'xmllitesetup.exe' in the update folder to activate tab function.
5. Enjoy!

We have all these game consoles. Sony playstation2, Microsoft xbox, and the Nintendo gamecube. (excluding the recent ones and the ones to come like ps3 and xbox360) I was wondering how cool it would be if we had just one console to run all the different format of games. Like there is Giam for msn, yahoo, icq, jabber, aim, g-talk messengers.
We know there is Linux for PS2. which makes your PS2 a personal computer. and there are lots of emulators out there that we can run xbox and ps2 systems on PCs. so i guess it is possible to make a universal console. I'm just wondering when it would be.

Any fan of the 'The Last Unicorn' around? Yeah you know what im talking about. the annoying cartoon that used to show almost everyday when we were kids on TVM. After a decade or so the theme songs to the Last Unicorn became a hit, the story was phenomenal. We all realised it only after a decade or so, I wonder why? But truely it was a movie way ahead of its time. With famous actors as voice cast such as 'Jeff Bridges' as Prince Lir, and 'Christopher Lee' (yes the guy who played Saruman in Lord of th rings) as King Haggard.

I once saw another cartoon like 5 years ago again on TVM. Which has a bad habbit of showing half of the movie over and over again. I only saw the end of it and never knew the name of this great movie with magic, dragons, damsels, ogres, knights wizards and elves. I loved the story instantly already being a fan of the alst unicornand 2 years back i was boringly wavering through the internet when i saw a picture of a green wizard from the movie I saw 3 years ago. I quickly read the title and it said 'The Flight of Dragons'.

IMDB was very helpful, it told me that the movie was directed by the same people who directed 'The Last Unicorn' (blooming best news ever). After 2 years finally today I have got the movie in my hands safely written to my hardrive. (oh thank you torrents)

It has this intresting view which takes us through a scientific perspective through the magical world. The voice cast also includes famous actors such as the late 'John Ritter' as the voice of Peter Dickenson and 'James Earl Jones' as the evil wizard Ommadon.

I enjoyed every bit of it. The story was magnificant. I dont want to give away anything so I'll stop before I get carried away. But please do see it. It wont dissapoint you.
